Your data is collected on the one hand by you communicating it to us (e.g. by entering it in the contact form). Other data is collected automatically when you visit the website by our IT systems. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

You have the right within the framework of applicable legal provisions to receive free information at any time about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing, and if applicable a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

This website uses self-hosted audience measurement without any third party. It only runs after you have agreed in the consent banner; if you decline, no measurement takes place and you suffer no disadvantage. We record the page path opened, the referring page, a coarse device class (desktop, tablet, mobile) derived from the browser identifier, and the time. To tell returning visits from new ones we derive a check value from your IP address combined with a random value that changes daily. This check value exists only in memory, is discarded at least daily and is never stored; your IP address itself is not stored for this purpose. Only aggregated figures without any personal reference are retained. There is no profiling, no cross-device recognition and no disclosure to third parties. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; you may withdraw it at any time with future effect by clearing this site’s website data in your browser.

We use no advertising, tracking or third-party cookies. We store only two technically necessary items in your browser’s local storage: your choice between light and dark appearance, and your decision in the consent banner, so that we do not have to ask again on every visit. Both remain on your device, are not transmitted to us, and can be deleted at any time through your browser settings.

When you use the project enquiry form we process your name, email address, optionally your company name and message, together with the services you selected and the resulting budget estimate, in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). For job applications we additionally process the position you refer to (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR in conjunction with § 26 BDSG). To prevent automated submissions we check every transmission for abuse indicators and keep sender addresses in memory for at most 15 minutes. For the newsletter we process your email address on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); if the connection to our newsletter system Sendy is enabled, your address is transmitted to it as a processor. You can unsubscribe at any time. Retention periods for enquiries and applications are set out in section 4; application documents are deleted no later than six months after the process ends.

The website runs on servers located in Germany. Retrieving it creates technically necessary server logs containing, among other things, the IP address, time and requested resource, which serve secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We use an email service provider as a processor for sending notifications and form confirmations. All fonts used are delivered from our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external provider, so your IP address is not transmitted to third parties for this purpose.
